A Sad Day for Rosewood Guitar Photo credit
-PhinneyWood.com Early morning November 5th
Rosewood Guitar was the victim of arson. The fire was set between
our main store and teaching studios. Fortunately,
Seattle Firefighters responded quickly and saved our business
from what could have been a total loss. As it
is both buildings suffered major damage from fire, smoke and water. All of our guitars and inventory are safe and are
being securely stored off-site. January Update
Restoration work on our main store is progessing
nicely. New drywall is up and painting should begin the first
week of February. Our best estimate is that we be reopen for business
mid to late February. We had to tear down the smaller
teaching studio building and are working with contractors on designs
and bids for rebuilding. Our phones are still
down while contractors finish their work. If you would like to
contact us the best way is via email. Guitar lessons
are being held next store at 8406 Greenwood, behind Cobblestone
Furniture. Please contact your instructor directly if you have
any questions about your schedule. We appreciate
your support and understanding.

"Jason Williams who puts in a bravura performance
on this, his first recording. Technically, Williams displays
an enviable grasp of the difficulties of the classical guitar
when tackling music of this complexity and he here proves he
is up to all the challenges." Classical
