Specifications: Spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, 650 mm scale length, elevated fingerboard.
Comments: Greg Byers is one of America's top luthiers. His guitars have been played by many concert artists including David Tanenbaum and David Russell.
His workmanship and attention to detail are second to none. This guitar has a full, yet elegant voice with perfect balance and gorgeous tone.
The sound is clear and lyrical with a smooth attack and nice bloom to then notes.

Rozas 2a 2006

Specifications: Cedar top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, 650 mm scale length, Fustero tuners
Comments: This is a lovely guitar from the Spanish luthier Igancio Rozas. It is a signed IIa model indicating construction by Rozas himself. The sound is very much in the Madrid
tradition. The basses are focused and powerful, the trebles are clear and bell-like. The guitar had expert repair to a back crack that is now virtually invisible and is in
excellent condition overall.

stunning as is the overall workmanship. The sound...amazing! The Brazilian rosewood adds extra dimension to the sound enhancing the color,
especially the rich, dark tones. Like all of Hill's double top gutiars, the sustain and volume are fantastic. This one is a beauty.

Comments: This Hill Signature model was specially made for Rosewood Guitar's own Michael Partington. This guitar was
Michael's main concert and recording instrument until just recently (when he got another Hill Signature!) The guitar has a number of
non-standard special features including gorgeous Brazilian rosewood, Alesis tuners, and a 12 hole bridge. The sound, of course, is fantastic!

Comments: The Performance model is Kenny Hill's newest double top model. It is very similar to the popular Signature model
but without the eleveated fingerboard. The sound is loud with great sustain.

Comments: Gilbert guitars are prized by their owners for their volume and power. This guitar is no exception. The trebles ring out with tremendous clarity and
the basses are bold and piano-like. The combination of volume and sustain make it easy to project and easy to sound great.
This guitar is in excellent overall condition. Neither John or Bill Gilbert are building any longer so these guitars
are becoming increasingly hard to come by.

Comments: This is a beautiful concert instrument from Manuel Contreras I. This guitar was purchased in the Contreras workshop and came to us from the original owner
who kept it in immaculate condition. The European spruce top is lovely and teh Brazilian rosewood back and sides are of a quality that is no longer available.
The sound is big and full with wonderful color. A great guitar for a performer or collector.

Comments: Richard Howell is one of the top builders in Australia, known throughout the world for his lovely Fleta-style guitars.
This guitar is easy to play and has a full, warm sound with lyrical trebles and big basses.

Specifications: Spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, 650 mm scale length, French polish top, Fustero tuners.
Comments: Mariano Tezanos and Gregorio Perez were veteran luthiers of Jose Ramirez III and IV until they split off to open their own shop in the 1990s. The Maestro model is
one of their top concert instruments featuring fine European spruce, outstanding Brazilian rosewood and wonderful inlay work. The sound is bold and powerful.

Aguilarte ca. 1990

SPAIN..
Specifications: Solid cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, 640 mm scale length.
Comments: This guitar from Granada builder Jose Lopez Aguilarte is a wonderful sounding, versatile guitar. The tone has the
characteristics of Granada builders like Marin, Hinves, Barslaag and others. The basses are full and the trebles sing. The action
is low and golpeadors make it suitable for flamenco or classical. The 640mm scale makes this guitar very easy (and fun!) to play.

Bellido Flamenco Negra 1994

SPAIN.
Specifications: Spruce top, Coral wood back and sides, 650 mm scale length.
Comments: Manuel Bellido is recognized world-wide as one of the elder statesmen of the "Granada school" of guitar building.
He is most famous for his flamenco guitars and his instruments are played by some of the top flamenco players in the world including Tomatito and Vincente Amigo.
This guitar with the beautiful coral wood back and sides is truly unique. It is a wonderfully versitile guitar with a powerful sound and a tone that is both focused and lyrical.
The action is very low making this guitar fast, easy to play and just a lot of fun.
A great guitar for a classical, flamenco, fingerstyle jazz player or discerning collector.

Comments: This guitar is from one of our favorite Mexican builders, Carlos Pina. This is a lively fun to play flamenco guitar
that sounds good for just about any style of music. The rosette is based on the Aztec calendar and very well executed.

Comments: Greg Oxrieder has been building guitar for Rosewood Guitar since the mid-70s. He works
full time as a violin and stringed instrument restorer and his skills are evident in his classical guitars.
This guitar was originally built in 1984 and was fitted with a new soundboard in 2010. The condition is now like new.
